Susan Heath
Chief Executive Officer
Associated with rehabilitation for nearly 30 years, Susan began her career at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., as a speech-language pathologist following receipt of her master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri. Her clinical experience includes a wide variety of settings and her administrative responsibilities include clinical services direction, assistant administrator, and administrator roles. Susan finds her clinical background is an asset in her operational responsibilities.

Stewart Young
Director of Clinical Services
Stewart Young has been a Physical Therapist for 25 years. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. His experience encompasses a variety of clinical settings including acute, post-acute and outpatient. For a number of years he treated orthopedic and amputee patients as an outpatient physical therapist and worked extensively with high school and college athletics. Currently he leads a vibrant team of physical, occupational, recreation and speech therapists at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehab Hospital.

Leslie Richerson
Director of Marketing Operations
Leslie has more than 12 years of health care experience. A Tennessee native, she graduated from The University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. As a therapist, she has worked in any number of arenas including home health, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and acute care. Her career also includes experience in utilization review, managed care contracting and managed care sales and marketing.

Peggy Belyeu
Controller & Chief Financial Officer
Peggy has 25 years of health care financial management experience in government, insurance, acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in both for-profit and not-for-profit settings. She is a Tennessee native and holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Peggy is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Tennessee.

Ruth Beasley
Director of Human Resources
Ruth has more than 21 years of health care experience, with the last 10 being in Human Resources management. Ruth began her health care career in 1986 as a dietary secretary and then advanced to nursing, administration and then on to the HR department. She brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to our human resources department.

Nathan Johnson
Director of Quality Management/Director of Case Management
Nathan has 22 years of health care experience and has held numerous positions in health care management and outcome research and development. He holds a nursing diploma from St. Francis Hospital in Pennsylvania, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Slippery Rock State University in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Nathan oversees the quality initiatives, risk management concerns, infection control practices and employee health.

Tim Owens
Director of Support Services
Tim brings more than 25 years of health care experience to Stallworth. Tim grew up in Melbourne Beach, Fla. He began a career in materials management when he entered health care in 1981 after a tour in the Navy. He joined the rehabilitation sector in 1989. Tim has worked in rehabilitation hospitals in Florida, Texas, California and Tennessee with progressive levels of responsibilities.

Martha Bishop RN, BS
Chief Nursing Officer
Martha has more than 30 years of patient care services management experience. A Virginia native who graduated with a diploma in nursing from Petersburg General, Martha also has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from City University in Washington State, a master’s degree in health services administration from the St. Joseph’s College in Maine and a credential in advanced studies in patient care services from the University of Minnesota.
