Rehabilitation Nursing —Facilitate maintenance and restoration of functional abilities and implements the medical care program as directed by the physician
Occupational Therapy — Designs and delivers activity-based therapy to promote independence in the areas of self care, home management and community reintegration
Physical Therapy — Evaluates and designs a treatment program to address limitations in physical function, mobility and safety
Psychology — Provides support services to assist the patient and family in adjusting to their disability
Respiratory Therapy — Ensures optimal respiratory function through services such as oxygen supplements, aerosol treatments, mechanical ventilation management and education
Speech-Language Pathology — Assesses and treats individuals with communication and comprehension disorders, cognitive difficulties and swallowing disorders
Dietary and Nutritional Counseling — Supervises all meals to ensure patients receive the necessary nutrition
Case Manager — Coordinates with the physician to ensure the patient’s needs are met and involves the family and other caregivers in the patient’s rehabilitation
Recreational Therapy — Assisting people in developing and using their leisure in ways that enhance their health, independence and well-being through community re-entry outings as well as weekly activities in the hospital for patients and their families.
